Morning Rituals: An Artful Lavender Latte.

Mornings Inspired

The way we begin our day, sets the tone for all that follows. So, why not make it artful, delicious, and healthy?

I truly look forward to starting my mornings with something warm in hand. And once I became a mother, it became a necessity! A slice of heaven to look forward to during those dreaded early mornings….

Here is one of my favorite ways to enjoy coffee— a simple and delicious vegan coffee latte recipe.

The foundational ingredients are simple…
Organic coffee, nut butter, and a date or two to give it sweetness. For this recipe I chose lavender, because of this herbs calming properties.

When you blend the ingredients together, it becomes a perfect pour with a creamy froth. If you’ve had the experience of feeling ungrounded and jittery following your morning coffee, the nut butter works magic to balance the acidity, while giving it that creamy texture— a win/win.

You may also add in foundational herbs and adaptogens such as reishi, lions mane, cordyceps, and chaga to give you that extra brain boost in your day, while keeping cortisol levels at bay.

For nut butter, I generally prefer high quality cashew butter, however feel free to use the nut butter of choice.
